"Cultivating life in our soil, environment and world"
Local and Global Outreach
At Palmer's Farm we believe our core values must not only permeate our high quality of produce but extend to those locally and abroad.

We are aware that hunger extends beyond our local community. To contribute to helping elimate the global hunger crisis, we donate 5% of our annual profits to Catholic Relief Services and Food for the Poor, two internationally accredited agencies that provide critical resources to the marginalized and forgotten in war-torn and 3rd world countries.
Each fall, students from Saint Vincent College participate in a course entitled God, Work and Money taught by Dr. Jason King. As the students learn about social justice in the classroom and its application in the marketplace, they are challenged to volunteer their time. The harvested crops are given directly to poor families in the county.

St. Isodore was a farmer committed to helping others. St. Isodore's Garden refers to the portion of our harvest which we donate each season to assist local food pantries and the Westmoreland County Food Bank, sometimes reaching thousands of pounds of fresh produce.
