Local and Global Outreach
At Palmer's Farm we believe our core values must not only permeate our high quality of produce but extend to those locally and abroad.
Serving members of our community in need
Several times throughout the summer, our crew harvests produce from our fields which we donate to local food pantries, collaborating with Westmoreland County Food Bank to serve those in need. At these food drives, we personally assist the volunteers in distributing our produce to clients. We serve hundreds of families in this way throughout the summer.
Donating 5% of our profits
As a way of addressing hunger beyond our local community, we donate 5% of our annual profits to Food for the Poor and Catholic Relief Services. These are two internationally
accredited agencies that provide critical resources to the marginalized and forgotten in war-torn and 3rd world countries.
